By 2021, the planted area of the whole country had reached 130,000 hectar and the dried tea output 180,000 tons of which 130,000 tons was exported and the domestic consumption was about 30,000 tons. In 2021, Vietnam exported nearly 12 thousand tons to Russia, worth 19 million USD, decreased by 17% in volume and nearly 10% in value due to Covid and other political issues. Despite the decrease in export, Russia is still a long term important market and Vietnam Tea Association as well as Vietnam Tea companies are welcome Russian partners to visit Vietnam tea areas. With the great increase of interesting in healthy products worldwide, Vietnam Tea Association designed a 4-day-special-tour to “Invite Business Customers to Vietnam”. By joining the tour, you will not only have a chance to visit specialty and industrial tea area, but also experience the rich tea culture of Vietnam. Every moment of the tour will be remarkable and unforgettable with special activities.
Day one, delegations will be warmly welcome and refreshed with specialty tea at famous tea house in Hanoi. Delegations will enjoy Hanoi cuisine at suitable time. Delegations will leisure at 3-4 star hotel at the center of Hanoi.
Day two, a B2B workshop will be organized for Vietnam and Russia tea business. Vietnam tea products will be displayed and tea tasting event will be organized during the workshop.
Day three, a travel to famous Vietnam tea area. One of the following areas may be chosen:
Snow Shan tea area: A specialty tea product of Vietnam, grow mainly in mountainous area, especially in North of Vietnam. Characterized with white feathers, rich in nutrients, pureness and natural organic. Snow shan tea has been taken care by ethnic minorities for thousands of years.
Industrial tea area: An industrialized tea area where the products are mainly use for export. There are lots of factories with different sizes, product ranges and certificates which can satisfy all requirements from low to high end markets.
Green tea area: A traditional green tea area, has been exploited hundreds years ago. All the green tea there are hand-made. Each tea house there has her own story with secret techniques that make their tea unique.
The last day is the tea feast day. We will bring you to the most colorful tea houses from ancient to modern one. Enjoy the rich tea culture with typical tea products which will be unforgettable.
As our guests, you will be provided food, accommodation as well as transportation and interpreter throughout the tour. What you have to do is just book the ticket and you will be greeted at Noi Bai international airport.
