How an innovative themed tea set idea led to brew-tiful NI business
If there’s one thing that unites people across these shores, it’s our love of tea. In fact, so great is our love of a Rosie Lee, 100 million cups are supped across the UK every single day, working out at almost 36 billion cups of tea consumed per year.
With such a warm spot in all our hearts, artist and mum-of-two Victoria Hoey, who lives in Belfast with husband Phil (43) and children, Ben (six) and three-year-old Amelia, has developed a booming business celebrating our love of the hot stuff.
“I specialise in designing tea gift sets, and they’ve proved to be a massive hit,” says Victoria (41). “When I first started out, I never dreamt this is where I’d make my money, but it turns out people really love tea, and when it’s done right, all things tea can work brilliantly for gifts.”
