Inside a small room at The Clark Art Institute is the museum’s newest acquisition, a unique, hand-painted 19th century porcelain tea set.
“This is an exquisite, very special set that was made only as a kind of a gift so to speak,” said Kathleen Morris, curator of decorative arts. “So not many of these would have been made, it’s very rare.”
