Questex has announced the next winners of one of the most prestigious world tea contests – World Tea Best of Awards 2020, which is annually presented in the USA as part of the world’s largest specialized exhibition World Tea Expo + Conference. The contest is held in 10 key categories.
It is gratifying that in the shortlist of one of the nominations – Best Tea Advocate, which marks a person or company representing tea in a positive way with an award, two of the three nominees were directly related to the Tea Masters Cup (ТМС) project – Chairman of the TMC Ramaz Chanturiya and Chief Judge of the TMC Sharyn Johnson. This fact, in itself, testifies to the high importance of this tea competition project for the world tea industry and is the merit of every tea master who opens the wonderful world of tea to people.
After a difficult choice, the Best Tea Advocate was named Ramaz Chanturiya, Chairman of the Tea Masters Cup, a project of an international tournament among tea masters (held annually since 2013 and taking place in 26 countries ), who professionally work with tea and strive to broaden their horizons, realizing the importance of professional growth and improving skills in working with tea to promote high tea culture
Winners in all nominations this year were announced during the World Tea Virtual Summit, which took place from October 12 to 14, 2020.
– Congratulations to this year’s World Tea Best of Awards winners, representing a wide range of innovations and companies offering tea and tea related products, – said FaithAnn Bailes, content manager for the World Tea Conference + Expo. – I am personally ‘over the moon’ about the award recipients, as they have all worked hard and deserve this recognition by their peers. Thank you to all of the winners for their contributions to the tea industry, and a huge thank you to all of the judges who worked very hard reviewing and investigating each nomination.
