Dear friends,
On May 21, in honor of the celebration of International Tea Day, we have launched a competition for champions – Tea Masters Sketch. Over a month, 18 participants from 13 countries prepared their works, created sketch recipes, shot and edited videos.
It was very difficult task for our competent international judges (8 judges from 7 countries) to come up with a final decision. All video sketches are certainly very creative, interesting and made with great love for Ceylon tea.
We want to thank everyone for their participation and say that you have done an incredible job! Each video is a real contribution to the development of tea culture.
We also thank Sri Lanka Tea Board for sponsorship of the contest and for the inspiration that Ceylon tea gave to each participant.
Well, now … We are ready to announce our winner.
The best sketch, according to competent judges, was prepared by Valerio Vitiello from Italy!
Congratulations, Valerio, and thanks for the contribution you made through your work. We will contact you to discuss the details of your prize soon.
But that is not all good news for today.
MaryJane Shakti Hua from Australia will get a special set of choicest Ceylon teas as she takes a second place of contest.
Another prize – the Audience Award goes to Panchali Mandakini from Sri Lanka. Her video gained the most likes on the TMC official Youtube channel. Panchali also scored third place of the contest. So she also wins a special set of choicest Ceylon teas.
Moreover, Sri Lanka Tea Board decided to award all participants by tea gifts. Each participant will receive them in their own countries.
